Consult your doctor about preventative measures before travelling to countries affected by contagious diseases such as malaria, yellow fever etc. Vaccinations are obligatory or at least recommended for some countries. Your travel agent or the Public Health Service will advise you on the necessary precautions.

If you are undergoing medical treatment that requires you to take medication regularly, you should seek advice from your doctor as to whether this medication is considered as a stupefacient or narcotic.
